In 1995, Wuxi Hengtai Cable Equipment Factory (predecessor of the company) was established in a leased workshop of Bashi Water Supply Company, with 3 initial employees, and its main products were pneumatic caterpillar and end-shaft type take-ups and pay-offs;

In May 2000, Wuxi Hengtai Cable Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was formally established;
In September 2000, Wuxi Hengtai's first Ф120 cable sheath extrusion production line was put into operation in Hangzhou Futong Group;

In June 2001, Wuxi Hengtai's first Ф90 optical cable sheath extrusion production line was put into operation in Hangzhou Futong Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.;
In June 2001, Wuxi Hengtai's first SZ stranding production line for optical cable was put into operation in Hangzhou Futong Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.;

In March 2002, the company kept expanding and moved to the new factory.
In July 2002, Wuxi Hengtai's first fiber optic cable steel wire armoring production line was put into operation for the Prysmian Group in July.
In October 2002, Wuxi Hengtai started cooperation with NOKIA-MAILLEFER Group, providing supporting equipment for the VCV production line equipment in Shenyang Furukawa Group.

In May 2003, Wuxi Hengtai's first set of 630 ground shaft driven frame rigid stranding machine production line was successfully manufactured;
In July 2003, Wuxi Hengtai's first set of 500 ground shaft driven frame rigid stranding machine production line was successfully manufactured;
In October 2003, Wuxi Hengtai's first set of 630 ground shaft drive rigid stranding machine production line with lump loading system was successfully manufactured;

In 2004, the newly purchased site expanded the production scale.

In May 2006, Wuxi Hengtai's first Ф200 extrusion production line was put into operation in Anhui Huaxing Cable Company.

In August 2008, Wuxi Hengtai's first set of 630 separate motor-driven lump loading frame rigid stranding machine production line was put into operation in Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology.

In June 2009, Wuxi Hengtai's first set of automatic wire coiling and packaging machine was successfully developed and put into operation in Zhengzhou Third Cable Company.

In August 2011, Wuxi Hengtai's first set of fully automatic high-speed automatic wire packaging production line was successfully developed and put into operation in Henan Jinshui Cable Group.

In August 2013, Wuxi Hengtai's first set of intelligent high-speed wire packaging production line was successfully developed and put into operation in Gold-cup Electric Group.

In 2017, Wuxi Hengtai's first set of concentric stranding production line was successfully put into operation in Zhengzhou Third Cable Company.

In 2018, Wuxi Hengtai completed the overall design and construction of intelligent wire manufacturing factory for Guizhou Yourday Group, and successfully passed provincial acceptance of Guizhou.

In 2019, Wuxi Hengtai completed the overall design and construction of an intelligent wire manufacturing factory for Ningbo Qrunning Cable Group, and successfully passed the provincial acceptance of Zhejiang.
