This equipment is primarily used for continuous interlocking armoring of round cables; the armoring material can be 5-series aluminum alloy tape, copper tape, or stainless steel tape.
The main unit is driven by two motors and one French Ridex differential; the main unit rotation is driven by a variable frequency motor; and the tape feeding is driven by a servo motor. It is particularly suitable for the armoring production of small-diameter MC cables. It overcomes the shortcomings of traditional continuously variable transmission (CVT) structures, such as low tape feeding accuracy, inability to produce small-diameter armored cables, easy tape breakage, low efficiency, and cumbersome specification changes.
